Q&A
A: Yes, kids as young as 8 can join the guided hikes, but it really depends on their fitness level. Some trails might be too strenuous for younger ones, so I’d recommend checking with the guide to choose the right hike. Also, it’s important to keep them hydrated and watch the weather!
A: Absolutely! The guides are pretty flexible. If the weather looks bad, just reach out to them, and they’ll help you pick a new date. They want everyone to have a great experience, so they'll work with you.
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking boots and moisture-wicking clothes since it can get pretty hot. I also recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Layers are key, especially if you're hiking up to those higher elevations. You can always take layers off if it gets warm.

Thinking about giving a guided hike at Saguaro as a gift!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting a guided hike at Saguaro National Park for my brother’s birthday. He loves nature but doesn’t do a lot of hiking. I’m curious about how the guides are. Are they good at keeping things interesting? Also, any tips on what to bring or avoid?
Just did the guided hike at Saguaro and wow!
I just got back from the guided hike at Saguaro National Park and it was amazing! The variety of ecosystems was mind-blowing. We started low with the giant cacti and ended up in the pine trees. The lunch they provided was pretty good too! I can’t recommend this enough for anyone looking for a unique experience.
