Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the sailing charter? Can I bring my 8-year-old?

A: Absolutely, you can bring your 8-year-old! The Ingrid Princess is family-friendly and the crew is great with kids. Just make sure to keep an eye on them, especially near the edges when sailing. It's a fantastic way to introduce them to sailing and nature!

Q: What should I wear for a sailing trip? Will I get wet?

A: Dress in layers! It can be chilly out on the water, especially in the morning. I'd recommend a light windbreaker and some comfy shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit wet. You might splash a little when the boat is moving, so keep that in mind!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our sailing charter? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can totally reschedule if the weather just isn’t cooperating! The crew is super flexible about that. Just be sure to contact them as soon as you know, and they’ll work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule.

Thinking about gifting a sailing charter – any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to surprise my partner with a sailing charter on the Ingrid Princess for their birthday. We’re both complete newbies to sailing, but it sounds like such a fun experience on the Salish Sea! I’m curious if anyone has done this before, or if you think it’s a good gift idea. What should I expect? Any must-do tips?

Just went on the Ingrid Princess – pure magic!

I did the sailing charter last week, and wow! The Ingrid Princess is such a beauty. The crew was super friendly, and the captain let us take the helm for a bit. We saw seals and orcas—so cool! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience in Port Angeles. Just be ready for some wind!
