Q&A

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad for our San Andreas Fault tour?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather's not cooperating. Just give Big Wheel Tours a call, and they’ll help you find a new date that works. They’re pretty flexible with changes, especially for weather-related issues.

Q: What should we wear on the San Andreas Fault tour?

A: Dress in layers! The desert can get chilly in the morning but heat up fast. Comfortable shoes are a must since you might do some light hiking. Sunscreen and hats are also a good idea to protect yourself from the sun.

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? What’s the age limit?

A: Absolutely! The tour is fun for the whole family. Kids as young as 8 can join, but be sure they’re comfortable in an SUV and can handle some bumpy terrain. It’s a great way to teach them about geology and the environment!

Just did the San Andreas Fault Offroad Tour, it was epic!

I went on the San Andreas Fault tour with Big Wheel Tours last weekend and wow, what a ride! The views of the Salton Sea were stunning, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the geology. We had some snacks and bottled water included, which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend it as a gift for adventure lovers!

Thinking of gifting the San Andreas Fault Offroad Tour!

I’m considering getting this tour as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He loves offroading and nature! I read that it has a minimum of two people though. Has anyone gone solo or paired up with someone? I’m looking for ideas on how to make it special.
