Q&A
A: Kids are definitely welcome! The tour is very educational and can be a great experience for the whole family. Just keep in mind that some parts of the tour involve walking, so younger kids might get tired. It’s best for kids who can appreciate history and culture. I took my 10-year-old and she loved it!
A: Dress comfortably! It’s a driving tour, but you will still be getting in and out of the van and walking around the missions. I’d recommend wearing breathable clothes and good walking shoes. Sunblock and a hat are also a must since you’ll be outside a lot. I made the mistake of wearing flip-flops once, and my feet regretted it!
A: The pick-up is super convenient if you’re in a downtown hotel! The van arrives right at your hotel entrance. For those not staying downtown, there are some public parking options nearby, but it can fill up quickly. It’s best to arrive early if you're driving yourself. Just coordinate with Victor for the best meeting point if needed!

Just booked the UNESCO Missions tour! Any tips?
I’m taking this San Antonio 1/2 Day UNESCO Colonial Missions driving tour with my parents next month, and I’m so excited! I’ve heard Victor is an amazing storyteller and really knows his stuff. I want to make sure we get the most out of it. Should I prepare any specific questions or topics to discuss with him? Also, how long do the stops usually last? Any tips are appreciated!
Amazing tour of the San Antonio Missions!
I just got back from the driving tour, and wow, it was incredible! Victor made the history so engaging. The stories he shared about Friar Olivares and the hidden symbols in the frescoes blew my mind. Highly recommend for anyone interested in history or just looking for a unique experience! Can’t wait to tell my friends. Anyone know if they have other tours?
