Small group. Easy pace. Rich storytelling. We cover the Alamo area, the River Walk, and San Fernando Cathedral with frequent stops and time for questions. I share the history and local legends most visitors never hear. Expect about 2 miles of walking over 3 to 4 hours. River Walk cruise and Tower of the Americas admission are included. chose this tour because the group stays small, the narrative is detailed, and the quality is “worth the premium.”.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this walking tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour, but it’s best suited for adults and older kids who can handle about 2 miles of walking. Young children might find it tiring, especially in the Texas heat. Just make sure everyone wears comfortable shoes and stays hydrated!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if plans change?

A: Yes! You can reschedule your tour with at least 24 hours' notice. Just contact Victor directly, and he’s usually pretty accommodating. It’s great that he understands life happens!

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Is there a dress code?

A: No formal dress code! Just wear something comfortable for walking. It can get hot in San Antonio, so breathable clothes and good walking shoes are a must. Sunglasses and a hat can help too, especially during midday.

Just did the San Antonio Legends Walking Tour - it was awesome!

I went on the Alamo, River Walk & Cathedral Legends tour last weekend, and wow, it exceeded my expectations! Victor is an amazing storyteller and shared so many local legends I had never heard before. The River Walk cruise was a great touch, and walking around the Alamo was really special. I think it’s perfect for anyone who loves history or just wants to explore San Antonio from a local’s perspective. Highly recommend it!

Thinking of gifting the walking tour - need some advice!

I'm considering getting this San Antonio tour as a gift for my parents. They love history and walking but are in their late 60s. Do you think they’d manage the pace? Also, how’s the guide? Any tips on the best time to go?
