Q&A
A: There aren't strict age limits, but kids usually need to be at least 3 years old to really enjoy the experience. It's a family-friendly cruise, so younger kids might enjoy it, especially with the wildlife spotting. Just keep in mind that there might be some movement on the boat, so make sure they’re comfortable with that.
A: Parking is free right at the dock, which is super convenient! Just get there a bit early, especially on weekends, because it can fill up fast. There's usually enough space, but you don’t want to be rushing to find a spot last minute.
A: Dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly out on the water, especially if the wind picks up. A light jacket and a hat are great. Don't forget sunscreen too, since you’ll be on the water for a few hours. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be moving around on the boat.

Thinking about gifting the San Diego whale watching cruise!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting this whale watching cruise for my partner’s birthday. Has anyone been on it recently? I saw they have wildlife spotting opportunities right from the dock, which sounds fun. I’m just hoping we’ll actually see some whales! Also, what’s the best time of year for this? Thanks!
Just did the whale watching cruise - amazing experience!
Just got back from the 3-hour whale watching cruise in San Diego and wow! It was so cool to see the whales so close to the boat. The crew was super friendly and even taught us about the different types of marine life. Plus, the free parking made it so easy! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique experience.
