Coronado is just across the bay from downtown San Diego. If you want to enjoy the outdoors while exploring San Diego at a slower pace this is the way to do it! We’ll ride under the Coronado Bridge, through the island, over the Silver Strand. The Silver Strand parallels the ocean and San Diego Bay, often called the most beautiful and cyclist-friendly bike route in California. We’ll pass gorgeous Victorian homes and stop at the famous (and infamous!) Hotel del Coronado, where we may have some ice cream! Coronado’s White Sand Beaches are voted the Top 10 best beaches in the US (including Hawaii and Florida)! Views of San Diego Bay & San Diego Skyline are included at no extra cost! Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this bike tour on Coronado?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd say it's best for kids aged 10 and up since they will need to handle a bike for 2-2.5 hours. Just make sure they can ride confidently! Younger kids might feel a bit left out, but you can always ask the provider if they have options like tandem bikes or trailers.

Q: What should I wear for the bike tour? Any tips?

A: You’ll want to wear comfy clothes! I suggest breathable athletic wear and definitely some sunscreen since you'll be out in the sun. I regretted not wearing sunglasses—some parts were really bright. And don’t forget a light jacket if the ocean breeze gets chilly!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather is bad. Just keep an eye on the forecast! It’s best to contact Scenic Cycle Tours directly to move your booking. They’re usually pretty flexible and will work with you to find another date that works.
