Q&A
A: Great question! There’s really no strict age limit for kids, but the cruise is recommended for ages 4 and up. Just keep in mind that kids need to be able to sit for a couple of hours and enjoy the scenery. The staff is super accommodating, so if you have little ones, just let them know in advance!
A: Dress in layers! It can get a bit breezy on the water, especially as the sun sets. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea. Make sure to wear comfy shoes too—flip flops are okay, but you’ll want something secure if the boat rocks a little.
A: If the weather doesn’t permit the cruise, they’ll typically reach out to you at least a few hours before. You can then reschedule for another date that works for you. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast as your date approaches!

Thinking about gifting the sunset cruise! Any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m considering this San Diego Dolphin Watch Sunset Cruise for my sister’s birthday. She loves the ocean and dolphins. Just curious about the best times to go and if the views are really as amazing as they say? Any tips for first-timers?
Just got back from the dolphin watch cruise!
I just did the San Diego Dolphin Watch Sunset Cruise, and it was amazing! We saw a bunch of dolphins swimming alongside the boat, and the sunset was gorgeous. The whole thing lasted about 2.5 hours. Definitely bring a light jacket if you're going later in the day! Great experience for gift-giving too, I highly recommend it.
