Q&A

Q: Do you have to be in good shape to do the Segway tour? My friend is a bit out of shape.

A: Not at all! The Segway is super easy to ride, and you get a 30-minute orientation to get comfortable. It's pretty much suitable for everyone, even beginners. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and be ready for a fun time! Honestly, I saw people of all ages on the tour.

Q: Can this be rescheduled if plans change? My sister might have a scheduling conflict.

A: Yes, you can reschedule! As long as you give about 24 hours notice, they’re pretty flexible with changing dates. Just reach out to the tour company directly, and they’ll help you out. It’s a great option, especially since plans can change last minute.

Q: What should I wear for the Segway tour? Any tips for comfort?

A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and shoes! Think casual – like shorts or breathable pants and sneakers. You'll be moving around a lot, so it’s good to be comfy. Also, check the weather beforehand; if it’s sunny, a hat and sunscreen are a must!

Just did the Segway tour in San Diego - what a blast!

I recently took the Gaslamp Segway Tour in San Diego and it was awesome! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the Gaslamp Quarter and Balboa Park. The Segway itself was easier to ride than I thought! We stopped at Petco Park for photos too. Highly recommend this as a gift – my brother loved it! Just make sure to check the weather forecast before you go. Would definitely do it again!

Considering the San Diego Segway tour as a gift – thoughts?

I’m thinking of getting the Segway tour for my parents' anniversary. They’ve never done anything like this before! They love exploring new places, but I’m worried about them on a Segway. Are they really that easy to ride? Have people enjoyed this experience? Any advice would be great!
