Q&A
A: The 1-hour cruise gives you a quick overview of the harbor and the skyline, which is great if you're short on time. The 2-hour cruise, however, allows for more in-depth commentary and additional views of the bay, plus you get to spend more time relaxing on the water. If you can spare the time, I’d say it’s absolutely worth it for the extra scenery!
A: Kids are totally welcome on the harbor cruise! It’s usually family-friendly and there’s plenty of space for them to move around. Just make sure to keep an eye on them, especially if you’re sitting outside. Bring some snacks and enjoy the ride!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly on the water, especially if you’re out on the deck. I’d recommend a light jacket or sweater. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen—those reflections off the water can be strong. Comfortable shoes are a must too!

Just got back from the San Diego Harbor Cruise - what a gem!
I went on the 2-hour harbor cruise with Flagship Cruises last weekend and it was a fantastic experience! The views of the skyline are just incredible, especially during sunset. We learned so much from the narration, like the history of the USS Midway and some cool facts about the bay. It was super relaxing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside. Totally recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the ocean!
Thinking about gifting the harbor cruise for my mom’s birthday!
My mom loves the ocean and I’m considering this harbor cruise for her birthday next month. I’m a bit worried about the weather though—what if it rains? Can you reschedule? Also, is it a good experience for someone who’s a bit older?
