Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the scavenger hunt, but it's most enjoyable for kids 10 and up. Younger kids can definitely join, especially if they’re with adults who can help them with the riddles. Just keep in mind that some of the locations involve walking around and may not be stroller-friendly.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can easily reschedule your scavenger hunt. Just contact Puzzling Adventures, and they can help you find another time that works. They’re pretty flexible about it, just be sure to check in ahead of time!
A: Yes, the scavenger hunt is app-led, which means you can go at your own pace! This is great if you want to take your time exploring or stopping for snacks along the way. Just keep in mind that the adventure does have an overall time limit, so plan accordingly!

Thinking about gifting the Hillcrest Scavenger Hunt! Any thoughts?
I’m considering giving the San Diego Hillcrest Scavenger Hunt as a gift for my parents' anniversary. They love exploring new areas, and this seems super fun! I love that it starts at the Hillcrest sign and includes all those historical spots like the first gay bar and murals. Anyone done this? How did you feel about the difficulty level for older adults?
Just did the Hillcrest Scavenger Hunt with friends – it was awesome!
I just finished the San Diego Hillcrest Scavenger Hunt with a couple of friends, and we had such a good time! The anagrams were tricky but fun, and exploring the oldest restaurant was a highlight. We took lots of pictures at the murals. I highly recommend it for a group activity. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes since you do quite a bit of walking!
