Q&A
A: There aren't strict age limits, but I'd recommend this for kids aged 8 and up. They’ll need to be able to help pull the traps and listen to the captain. Just keep in mind that it's all about safety and they should be comfortable on a boat.
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly on the water, especially in the evening. I'd suggest a light jacket and non-slip shoes. Bring a hat or sunglasses too, since it can be sunny out there.
A: If the weather isn’t safe for sailing, they’ll definitely work with you to reschedule. Just make sure you check the forecast a few days ahead and give them a call if you have concerns!

Thinking of gifting the lobster hoop netting charter for my friend's birthday!
Hey everyone! I found this San Diego lobster hoop netting charter and it sounds awesome! Up to 6 people can go, and you can catch your own lobsters. I think my friend and a few others would have a blast. Has anyone done this? What's it like? Any tips for first-timers?
Just did the lobster hoop netting trip—amazing day on the water!
I went on the San Diego lobster hoop netting charter last weekend with some friends, and it was a blast! We caught more lobsters than we could eat. The crew was chill and super helpful. They provided drinks and all the bait too, which was nice. Highly recommend it!
