Q&A
A: Yes, guests must be 21 or older to enjoy the tequila tasting. However, if you're buying this as a gift for someone who is underage, they can still participate in the tour and choose a non-alcoholic beverage instead. It's a great way for everyone to enjoy the experience together!
A: Spring and early fall are fantastic for this tour! The weather is usually mild and perfect for walking around Old Town. Plus, there are often local events happening that you can enjoy after the tour. Just check the local schedule in advance!
A: Parking can be a bit tricky in Old Town, especially on weekends. I recommend arriving early to find a spot. There are parking lots nearby, but they can fill up fast. Alternatively, consider taking a rideshare to avoid the hassle!

Just did the Old Town Tales Tour and loved it!
I went on the San Diego Old Town Tales, Tacos and Tequila tour last weekend, and wow, it was an amazing experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history, and the haunted house stop was definitely a highlight. The tacos at the end were to die for! I brought my 19-year-old sister who couldn’t drink, but she still had fun with the sodas. Definitely a unique way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend it as a gift!
Considering the Old Town Tales Tour as a birthday gift!
I’m thinking about getting this tour for my friend’s birthday next month. She loves Mexican food, and I think the taco aspect will really excite her! How’s the group size? I want to make sure it’s a personal experience and not just a big crowd. Any insights would be helpful!
