Q&A
A: Yes, the minimum age is 21 since it's a tequila tasting experience. Make sure to bring a valid ID for verification. It’s a great gift for adults who enjoy learning about tequila and Mexican culture!
A: Good question! The tour runs rain or shine, but if the weather's really bad, they might reschedule for safety. I’d recommend checking in with the provider a day or two before just to confirm what to expect.
A: Casual and comfy is the way to go! The rooftop patio can get a bit breezy, so maybe bring a light jacket. You’ll be walking around Old Town, so wear shoes that are good for walking. And don’t forget sunglasses for those Insta pics!

Just went on the San Diego Tequila Tour - here’s my experience!
I recently did the San Diego Tequila Tour with some friends, and it was such a blast! We started at Rockin' Baja Lobster with chips and salsa, plus our first tequila shot. The view from the Old Town Tequila Factory was amazing, especially while munching on that fish taco. The personal flight of tequila at El Agave was the highlight for sure! Highly recommend it as a gift for friends who love tequila or maybe even as a fun date night.
Considering the San Diego Tequila Tour as a gift - need advice!
I’m thinking about getting my buddy a San Diego Tequila Tour for his birthday. He loves tequila but I’m worried it might not be his vibe if he doesn’t like history. Is it mostly about the tequila or do they actually dive into the historical stuff too? Any insights would help!
