Q&A
A: Nope! The San Diego Zoo Safari Park doesn’t have age restrictions for entry. Kids and adults alike can enjoy everything the park offers. Just keep in mind that some activities may have height restrictions, especially the tram rides, but it's all pretty family-friendly. Definitely a great outing for all ages!
A: Dress comfortably! The park is huge and a lot of walking is involved. I’d recommend wearing breathable clothes and sturdy shoes. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen since you’ll be outdoors a lot. This summer, it can get pretty hot!
A: They don’t usually cancel for weather unless it’s a major storm. Just keep an eye on the forecast. The park is open rain or shine, but some shows may be adjusted. If you're worried, check their website or call ahead. Also, the animals are often more active in cooler weather!

Thinking about getting San Diego Zoo Safari Park tickets as a gift!
I’m considering buying the 1-Day Pass for my niece's birthday. She loves animals and I think she’d have a blast at the Safari Park! I read that it’s huge and has so many different animal exhibits. Has anyone been recently? How’s the tram ride? Is it worth it?
Just visited the San Diego Zoo Safari Park – amazing experience!
I went to the Safari Park last week with my family and we had the best time! The Africa Tram ride was really cool, we saw giraffes and rhinos. The kids loved every minute of it. Also, the botanical gardens were stunning! We spent the whole day there and barely scratched the surface. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves nature!
