Save 15% when you bundle two of our most popular tour excursions in one day! Depart from Fisherman’s Wharf and head over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Russian River region for our Woods and Wine Tour! You will first visit Korbel Winery for a full tasting of California Champagne and views of their historic landscape and buildings. You can also visit their on-site deli and pick up lunch or snacks. It is delicious and you can order ahead if you choose to! After that tasting, we will travel to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Here you can see the Colonel Armstrong Redwoods Tree that is over 1,000 years old! Lastly, we will take you to Russian River Vineyards, where you will drink overlooking the vines. Here they produce award-winning wines but are farmers first and keep a strong connection to their products. After all this, we take you back to San Francisco through Sebastopol, where you will see a different view of California countryside.

Q&A

Q: How much time do we spend at Armstrong Redwoods?

A: You typically get about 1.5 to 2 hours to explore Armstrong Redwoods. This is enough time to walk through the trails and check out some of the giant trees, like the Colonel Armstrong Tree. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because the trails can be a bit uneven!

Q: Is there a minimum age for this tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the tour, but it's more suitable for adults due to the wine tastings. Kids can come along, but they won’t be able to participate in the tastings. It’s a great family outing if you’re just looking for the scenery and fun!

Q: What should I wear? Is it cold by the redwoods?

A: It can get a bit chilly in the redwoods, even in summer! I’d recommend layering up with a light jacket. Also, wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking on some trails. And don't forget sunglasses for the winery part!

Just did the Armstrong Redwoods and Wine Tour — Amazing!

I just got back from the tour, and wow! The views crossing the Golden Gate were stunning. Korbel Winery was super fun; the champagne tasting was definitely a highlight. Armstrong Redwoods blew me away with its beauty. If you’re planning to gift this experience, it’s totally worth it!

Thinking about gifting this tour, but a bit nervous about logistics.

I really want to gift this Armstrong Redwoods and Wine Tour to my parents for their anniversary, but I’m a bit worried about the transportation. How reliable is the service? I don’t want them to have a stressful day. Anyone had any experience with this?
