Q&A
A: No age limits at all! Kids are totally welcome on the Bay Cruise. It’s a great family activity, especially since they can see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate up close. Just make sure they’re dressed warmly since it can get chilly out on the water. Also, if they’re under 5, they usually ride for free, but check directly with Blue and Gold Fleet just to confirm.
A: Spring and early fall are the best! The weather's usually mild and the views are amazing. Summer is also popular, but it can get crowded and a bit foggy. Just keep an eye on the forecast; if it looks too cloudy, it might be better to reschedule for another day.
A: There's parking available near Pier 39 where the cruise departs, but it can fill up fast, especially on weekends. I'd recommend arriving early around 30-45 minutes before departure to secure a spot. If you can, consider using public transit or rideshare; it's a lot easier!

Thinking about giving the San Francisco Bay Cruise as a gift!
So, I’m considering this Bay Cruise for my parents’ anniversary. They’ve never done it, and I think it’d be a great way to see the sights. I love that it goes under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz! Has anyone done this recently? What are the best days to go? Any tips?
Just did the Bay Cruise, and wow!
I just got back from the San Francisco Bay Cruise, and it was awesome! The views of the Golden Gate were stunning. I did the audio tour on my phone, and it was super informative. Just make sure to wear layers because it gets chilly out there! I recommend bringing a good camera for the photos. Anyone else love it as much as I did?
