Q&A
A: I'd recommend going on a weekday if possible! Saturdays can get pretty crowded, especially in the summer. Early spring or late fall are also great times to book; the weather is still nice, but the crowds are thinner. Just make sure to check the tour availability as it can fill up fast!
A: Muir Woods has a variety of trails, but most of the popular ones are pretty easy and accessible. The main boardwalk path is flat and well-maintained, which is great for older folks. Just make sure they wear comfortable shoes! If they’re up for a bit more, there are some moderate hikes too, but they can always stick to the easier paths.
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule! They understand that weather in SF can be unpredictable. Just give them a call or send an email to their customer service, and they’ll assist you in finding a new date. It’s always better to check ahead of time to avoid any surprises.

Just booked the San Francisco Bay Cruise, Muir Woods, and Sausalito tour for my parents!
I’m super excited! I chose the 2:45 cruise after their time in Muir Woods. They love nature, and the idea of seeing the redwoods is awesome. Plus, they’ve never been to Sausalito. I hope they enjoy walking around and checking out the art galleries there! Anyone have tips on good places to eat in Sausalito?
New to San Francisco tours. Is this combo worth it?
I’ve never been to SF and wasn’t sure if I should do separate tours or this combo. It’s hard to fit everything in one day! The combo looks great since it includes the Bay Cruise too. How’s the timing? Is there enough time to enjoy each spot?
