Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for participating in the scavenger hunt?

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but it's designed for adults. Kids can definitely join if they're with an adult, but the clues might be more challenging for younger ones. I took my 12-year-old, and they had fun, but I had to help a bit! Just make sure they’re up for a bit of walking around in the city.

Q: What should we wear for the scavenger hunt? Is there a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! There’s a bit of walking involved, and you’ll want to be ready for some city streets. Dress in layers since the weather can change quickly in San Francisco. I wore sneakers and a light jacket, and it worked out great!

Q: What happens if it rains? Can we reschedule?

A: If it rains, you can definitely reschedule! Just contact Mr. Treasure Hunt, and they’ll help you pick a better date. San Francisco weather can be unpredictable, so it’s good to have a backup plan. I had to reschedule once due to rain, and it was super easy.

Thinking of gifting the SF Scavenger Hunt, but is it really fun?

I’m considering this scavenger hunt for my sister’s birthday. I’ve read that it incorporates Augmented Reality, which sounds really cool! Has anyone actually done it? How was the experience? I'm hoping it’s engaging and not just walking around looking for clues.

Anyone else excited about trying the scavenger hunt?

I just signed up for the self-facilitated scavenger hunt in the Financial District! I’m super pumped. I love discovering places in the city, plus the free price tag is hard to beat. Anyone have tips for the best spots we should check out while we’re solving the clues?
