Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour! It’s suitable for all ages, but keep in mind that some of the food might be more adventurous for younger kids. If you're bringing kids, just be aware that they might not be into pupusas or tamales. Plus, the tour does involve some walking, so make sure they're up for it!
A: The tour runs rain or shine! They recommend dressing in layers and bringing a waterproof jacket just in case. If it's really pouring, they might modify the route a bit to keep everyone dry, but you’ll still get to enjoy the food and history. Always good to check the weather beforehand and plan accordingly!
A: Parking can be tricky in the Mission! There are a few public lots, but they fill up fast, especially on weekends. If you can, I’d recommend taking public transportation or rideshare. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the BART stations too, so that's an option if you're coming from elsewhere in the Bay Area.

Just did the SF Food + History + Art Tour! So good!
OMG, this tour is AMAZING! We went last weekend and ate the best pupusas I've ever had in my life. The guide was super knowledgeable about the Mission's history, and the street art was just breathtaking. We even got to sample some incredible chocolate! Highly recommend it for anyone who loves food and wants to learn a little history. You gotta try it!
Considering gifting the SF Food + History Tour to my sister!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting this tour for my sister's birthday. She loves food and art, but I wonder if it's good for a casual foodie, you know? Is the food portion substantial enough for a meal? Also, how's the walking involved? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
