Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this walking tour?

A: There are no strict age limits for the Presidio Walking Tour, but it's best suited for ages 10 and up since the content can be a bit complex. Younger kids might find it less engaging, but as long as they can walk for two hours, they’re welcome! Just make sure to bring water and maybe a snack.

Q: What should I wear for the Presidio walking tour?

A: Comfort is key! I'd suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and layers, since it can get windy near the water. Also, a hat and sunglasses can help if it’s sunny. Don’t forget that the terrain can be a bit uneven in some areas, so sturdy shoes are a must.

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can I reschedule?

A: Yes, if the weather is really bad, you can reschedule your tour with no penalties! Just contact JB Walking Tours at least a few hours before your tour starts. They’re pretty flexible about it, and you can pick another date that works for you.

Just did the Presidio Walking Tour - Here’s my take!

I went on the Presidio Walking Tour last weekend, and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable about all the old military buildings and told us some wild stories about the fire and the Buffalo Soldiers. The views of the Golden Gate were breathtaking, too! It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. I'm thinking about gifting this to my parents next!

Thinking about gifting the Presidio Tour - Any thoughts?

I’m considering giving the Presidio Walking Tour as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves history and the outdoors, but I’m unsure if it’s engaging enough for her. Has anyone here done it? What do you think?
