Q&A

Q: What should I wear to the whiskey cocktail class? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: Definitely go for a smart-casual look! You don’t need to dress to the nines, but something nice would fit the vibe. A nice shirt and jeans or slacks should do the trick. Just make sure you’re comfy since you’ll be mixing drinks and enjoying them!

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up? How flexible are they?

A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling! Just contact them at least 48 hours in advance, and you should be fine. They understand life happens, especially with a fun experience like this!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this class? Can I bring my 19-year-old?

A: You must be 21 or older to attend since it’s all about alcohol. So unfortunately, your 19-year-old won't be able to join. It’s a bummer, but the rules are strict when it comes to serving whiskey!

Just took the whiskey cocktail class at Gold Bar Distillery – what a blast!

I went to the San Francisco Whiskey Cocktail Class last weekend, and wow, it was so worth it! The mixologist was super knowledgeable and friendly. We made three cocktails: an Old Fashioned, a Whiskey Sour, and a Paper Plane. Each one was delicious! Plus, the views of the city from the distillery were incredible. I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my brother for his birthday!

Planning to buy the whiskey class as a gift – any tips?

I’m considering getting this whiskey cocktail class for my dad. He loves whiskey but has never done anything like this before. Is it beginner-friendly? Also, how far in advance should I book? Any advice would be great!
