Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Is there an age limit for the scavenger hunt, or is it suitable for kids?

A: There’s no strict age limit! It’s designed for all ages, so kids can definitely join in on the fun. Just keep in mind that some clues might require reading or creative thinking, so it helps if the kids are a bit older. If you have younger ones, I recommend pairing them with an adult to help them out!

Q: Can you change the date after booking if something comes up?

A: Yes! You can reschedule as long as you give Alley Kat Adventures a heads-up. They’re pretty flexible with dates, which is great if plans change. Just reach out to them directly to pick a new date!

Q: What should I wear for the scavenger hunt? Is it mostly indoor or outdoor?

A: You’ll be outside exploring, so definitely dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes! It can get sunny in San Luis Obispo, so bring a hat or sunscreen too. Layers are a good idea since it can cool off in the evening. Just be ready to move around!
