Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for riding the jet skis? Can kids go?

A: Great question! For the Sand Hollow jet ski rentals, riders need to be at least 16 years old with a valid ID to operate the jet ski. However, younger kids can ride as passengers as long as they wear a life vest. Just make sure they meet the weight requirements and can hold on tight!

Q: How easy is it to reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: They’re pretty flexible with weather. If the conditions aren’t safe, you can reschedule your jet ski rental without any extra fees. Just give them a call ahead of time to figure out the new date, and you'll be good!

Q: Is there parking near the jet ski rental place?

A: Yes, there's parking available at Quail Creek Reservoir! It can fill up quickly on weekends, though, so I’d recommend arriving early. It’s a pretty popular spot, especially in the summer, but you shouldn’t have a problem finding a place during the week.

Just did the Sand Hollow Jet Ski Rentals—What a blast!

I surprised my partner with the Jet Ski rental at Quail Creek Reservoir, and it was awesome! We rented a 2023 Sea-Doo and it handled like a dream. The lake was beautiful, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We spent about 2 hours on the water, and it was the best way to cool off. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an adventure gift. Just make sure to bring sunscreen!

Thinking about gifting the Jet Ski experience!

I’m considering this jet ski rental for my brother’s birthday, but I’m a bit worried about how he’ll handle it. He’s never been on a jet ski before. Is it tough for newbies? Also, how long do you think is enough time for a first timer?
