Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this scavenger hunt?

A: There's no strict age limit! It’s perfect for families, but younger kids might need a bit of help with the riddles. I'd say kids aged 7 and up should have a blast with it. Just make sure to have someone who can help them out if the clues get tricky!

Q: How long does the scavenger hunt usually take?

A: The duration really varies based on how fast you solve the clues. On average, groups take about 2 to 3 hours. However, since it’s app-led, you can definitely take breaks or stretch it out longer if you want to enjoy the sights at your own pace!

Q: What’s the best time of year for this scavenger hunt?

A: I’d recommend spring or early fall. The weather's usually perfect for walking around Sandusky, and you get to enjoy the beautiful parks. Summer can be a bit hot, while winter is pretty chilly to be outside, unless you’re bundled up and into it!

Thinking of gifting the Sandusky scavenger hunt – any tips?

I want to get this scavenger hunt experience for my sister's family. I think it’ll be really fun for them! But I’m a bit worried they might not be able to solve some of the clues. How tricky are they? Also, any recommendations for who might enjoy it more, kids or adults?

Just did the Sandusky scavenger hunt – so much fun!

We just wrapped up the scavenger hunt yesterday, and it was awesome! The clues took us all around Sandusky, including the Merry-Go-Round Museum. We loved snapping silly selfies at each spot. It took us about 3 hours, and it was pretty easy to figure out. I think anyone would enjoy this, especially if you’re into history!
