A: Yes, you can reschedule the trip if your plans change, but it's best to contact the provider as soon as possible. They usually have a policy that allows for rescheduling, but certain fees may apply depending on how close to the date you request it. Just make sure to have your booking details handy when you reach out!
A: Dress in layers! The train ride can get a bit chilly, but you'll want something light for when you're exploring Santa Barbara. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around the beaches and sites like the Old Mission and the Courthouse. You might also want to bring a hat and sunscreen if you're going during warmer months.
A: Yes, this tour is great for families! Kids usually love train rides, and there’s plenty for them to do in Santa Barbara. Just keep in mind that the historical sites may require some walking, so it’s good to check if your kids are up for that. Also, it’s a great way to teach them about local history and culture!

Thinking of gifting the Santa Barbara Day Tour!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the Santa Barbara Day Tour via Amtrak Coast Starlight for my parents’ anniversary. They love the coast and exploring new places. Has anyone done this tour? How was the train ride? Is there enough time to see the Courthouse and Mission? Any tips would be super helpful!
Just came back from the Santa Barbara Day Tour!
Wow, guys! I just did the Santa Barbara Day Tour, and it was amazing! The train ride from Oxnard was so beautiful—like the views were unreal! We had a couple hours in Santa Barbara, which was perfect to see the Old Mission and grab lunch at the pier. Highly recommend it for a chill day trip away from LA!
