Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the kayak tours? Can kids join?

A: Yes, children are allowed on the tours! Just make sure they’re at least 5 years old so they can handle the kayak with you. It’s a great family activity, but younger kids might need a little extra help. Just bring a life jacket that fits them well, and you’ll be good to go!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If there’s inclement weather, Sassy's usually reschedules the tour for you to a later date. They really prioritize safety, so if it’s stormy or too windy, they won’t take you out. Just keep an eye on the forecast and call them if you’re unsure!

Q: Are there any good parking options near the launch location?

A: Absolutely! There’s a parking lot right by the launch site. It’s pretty spacious, but it can fill up on weekends, especially during peak season. I’d suggest arriving a bit early to snag a spot. Plus, the area is easy to navigate!

Looking for the perfect gift? Check out Sassy’s Silver Springs Kayak Tours!

I just booked a kayak tour for my parents at Sassy’s Silver Springs and I can’t wait for them to go! It’s in Orlando, and they’ve always wanted to see manatees up close. The price is unbeatable since it’s all-inclusive with boats, paddles, and life vests. I think they’ll really enjoy the wildlife and the local history the guide shares. Has anyone done this before? Any tips for them?

Just got back from Sassy's Kayak and Paddleboard Tours!

Wow, what an experience! We saw so many manatees and even a few alligators! The water was so clear. Our guide shared cool stories about the area and pointed out hidden relics that added a fun touch. Just make sure to wear sunscreen and bring a hat; the sun can be intense out there. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about it!
