Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for this boat tour?

A: There isn't a strict weight limit per se, but they do advise guests to be mindful of space on the boat, especially during busy times. If you're planning to go with a larger group, just check with Outside Hilton Head beforehand to make sure everyone can be comfortably accommodated. The boat has plenty of space, but it's good to double-check!

Q: Can I bring my kids on this tour? Are there age limits?

A: Kids are absolutely welcome on the Savannah Port Tour! There’s no strict age limit, but keep in mind that it's best suited for children ages 5 and up since they’ll be able to appreciate the tour and enjoy the views. The interpretative guide is great for children too. Just make sure they stay close to you on the boat!

Q: What do we wear for this boat tour? Is it okay if it rains?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little wet. If the forecast calls for rain, a light rain jacket would be great! The tour operates unless there are severe weather warnings, so just be prepared for some wind and splashes. And don’t forget your sunscreen for those sunny days!

Just got back from the Savannah Port Tour - it was AMAZING!

I took the Savannah Port Tour with Outside Hilton Head last week, and wow, what a way to see the port! The guide was super informative, sharing cool facts about the history of Savannah and the shipping industry. The boat was really spacious, and they provided bottled water, which was nice. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting or even locals who want a different perspective on the city!

Thinking of gifting the Savannah Port Tour for my parents - any advice?

My parents are coming down to Savannah soon, and I thought the Port Tour would be a fun gift! They love being on the water and learning new things. Has anyone done this? Is it a good experience for older folks? Any tips?
