Q&A
A: No specific age restrictions apply, but it's good to note that kids usually need to be able to walk less than a mile for about two hours. Young ones might enjoy it, especially if they're into history or architecture! Just be sure to keep them engaged with the stories.
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking for 2 hours! Dress in layers since Savannah can get hot during the day but cooler in the shade. A hat and sunscreen are also good ideas. You want to be comfy to enjoy all the history!
A: If rain is expected, the guides will typically contact you to see if you want to reschedule. They might have ponchos available if the rain is light, but honestly, just check the weather before your tour and plan accordingly. Savannah has a lot of covered areas to enjoy too!

Thinking of gifting the history tour for my parents!
I’m considering this Savannah’s Finest History Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and walking. I hear Chris is an awesome guide! I think they’d really enjoy learning about the Cathedral and the stories of the squares. Anyone have tips on how to choose the best time for them to go?
Just did the walking tour, and wow!
I went on Savannah’s Finest History Tour last week, and it was amazing! Chris was our guide, and he had such a way with stories. I loved hearing about Sherman’s march! The architecture is just breathtaking too. If you’re thinking about it, do it! The Cathedral was stunning. Highly recommend!
