Q&A
A: Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet! You’ll definitely want a swimsuit underneath, and a quick-dry shirt is a good idea. Sandals with straps or water shoes work well too. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat, as you’ll be out in the sun for a bit.
A: Yes, kids are welcome! The tour is great for families, so as long as they’re comfortable in a kayak and can sit still for a couple of hours, they should have a blast. Just check with the tour provider for any specific age recommendations.
A: If the weather is unsafe, they’ll usually cancel or reschedule the tour. You’ll get notified in advance, and they’re pretty good about working with you to find a new date. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Thinking about gifting the Scenic and Wild Nature tour - opinions?
I'm looking at getting this paddle tour for my parents' anniversary. They love being outdoors and have never tried kayaking before. The tour seems perfect since it’s an easy paddle (2.5 hours) and they’d learn about the area too! Anyone done it? How was the experience?
Just finished the Scenic and Wild Nature tour - my thoughts!
Wow, what a fantastic experience! Just did the tour last weekend with some friends. The guide was super knowledgeable about Tahoe’s history and the wildlife views were surreal! We even saw a family of ducks. It’s a mellow paddle, so perfect for beginners. Totally recommend it!
