Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the kayak trip? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: Great question! Generally, kids as young as 6 can participate as long as they're accompanied by an adult. Your 10 and 12-year-olds should be perfect for this trip. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and wearing their life jackets. Have fun!

Q: What should I wear for the kayak trip? Any specific recommendations?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable and quick-drying. A swimsuit or moisture-wicking clothes are great choices. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for sun protection! And definitely wear water shoes or sandals that can get wet.

Q: What if we need to reschedule our trip? How does that work?

A: Rescheduling is usually pretty straightforward! You can typically do it up to 24 hours before your trip without any fees. Just give the Clarkdale Kayak Co. a call or check their website for the details. They're super helpful!

Just went on the Verde River Kayak Trip - What a blast!

I just got back from the guided kayak trip with Clarkdale Kayak Co. in Sedona, and it was unbelievable! The class 1 rapids were thrilling, and the scenery was just breathtaking. They provided everything, including life jackets and sunscreen, which I really appreciated. I went with my partner as a mini getaway, and it was perfect! Highly recommend for anyone looking for some adventure. It cost us nothing since we had vouchers, but I’d pay full price for it!

Thinking of gifting the Kayak Trip for my friends’ anniversary!

I’m considering getting the scenic kayak trip for my friends who love outdoor activities. They live in Sedona and have been talking about trying this. Does anyone know how long the trip usually lasts and if it’s a good fit for beginners? I really wanna make it special!
