Q&A
A: Great question! The tour is generally suitable for kids as young as 10, but they do recommend checking with Sebago Trails if your 12-year-old has any kayaking experience. Kids must be able to fit comfortably in the kayak with a life jacket. It's a fun way for families to explore together!
A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little wet. Quick-dry clothes are best! Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen since you’ll be out in the sun. Water shoes or sandals with straps work great too!
A: If the weather looks sketchy, Sebago Trails will usually reach out to you to discuss rescheduling options, especially if it's unsafe to go out. It's a good idea to check their policy when booking. Most of the time, they’re really flexible about moving the date if necessary.

Thinking of getting the Kayak Tour at Sebago Lake for my parents!
So, my parents love the outdoors but have never kayaked before. I'm thinking of booking the Scenic Sebago Lake Historical Tour for them. They’re in decent shape, and I think they’d enjoy the mix of kayaking and learning about the area's history. Has anyone done this? How was it?
Just did the kayak tour and it was so much fun!
I went on the Scenic Sebago Lake Historical Tour last weekend, and wow, what a great experience! The guides were knowledgeable and shared awesome stories about the lake’s history. Kayaking was easier than I thought, even for a first-timer like me! The scenery was stunning, especially around Jordan Bay. Totally recommend it as a gift!
