A: There's no strict age limit, but kids must be able to wear the provided headphones safely. I've seen families bring kids as young as 5, and they loved it! Just check with the tour provider beforehand to make sure they’re comfortable and safe.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, they usually reschedule you for a later date. It’s best to call them a day or two before to check conditions. We had to postpone ours because of fog, but it was worth the wait for a clear day!

Q: What should we wear for the helicopter tour?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable. The helicopter can get a bit chilly, so I’d suggest layers. A light jacket is good, and don’t forget closed-toe shoes since you'll be climbing in and out. Sunglasses are a must for the views!

Just went on the helicopter tour in Newport - WOW!

I did the Scenic Tour of Newport last weekend with my partner and it was absolutely surreal! The views of the mansions from above were breathtaking, especially The Breakers. It was a quick 12-minute flight, but felt like we were on top of the world. I can't recommend this enough for anyone thinking about a unique experience in RI! Worth every penny.
