Q&A
A: No, there’s no strict age limit for this tour! It’s great for families, and even younger kids can enjoy the sights and animals. Just keep in mind that they may need a little extra supervision at the wildlife center. It’s also a nice mix of educational and fun, so everyone can get something out of it.
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly along the Turnagain Arm, especially if you're going early in the morning. I'd recommend a light jacket and sturdy shoes since you’ll be walking around the center. Don’t forget sunglasses for the bright Alaskan sun!
A: Parking is pretty easy at the wildlife center! They have a large lot, and it’s free. Just keep in mind that it can fill up during peak times, especially in summer, so arriving a bit early is a good idea. But since this tour includes the ride, you won’t have to worry about your own car!

Thinking about gifting the scenic tour to the wildlife center!
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting this scenic tour from Anchorage to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to my parents. They love nature and animals! The drive along Turnagain Arm sounds beautiful. Just wondering if the tour is worth the money, and how the experience is? Are there any insider tips I should know?
Just got back from the wildlife center tour, and WOW!
I went on the scenic tour to the wildlife center last week, and it totally blew me away. The drive was gorgeous, and our guide shared lots of interesting facts about the wildlife. The center had some adorable animals, and I got to see a moose up close! Highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature. Just remember, bring a camera!
