Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the Seattle Engineering and Infrastructure Tour. Kids are definitely welcome, and it can be really educational for them! Just keep in mind that some of the concepts might be more advanced, so if you have younger kids, it might be a good idea to prepare them a bit ahead of time.
A: Yes, you can reschedule the Seattle tour with adequate notice. It's best to check with Cascade Excursions directly about their specific rescheduling policy, but they are usually pretty accommodating.
A: Wear comfortable shoes since there’s some walking involved. Seattle can be rainy, so layers are a good idea. A light waterproof jacket might be a lifesaver if the weather turns!

Just took the Seattle Engineering Tour and it was awesome!
I recently did the 4-hour Seattle Engineering and Infrastructure tour with Cascade Excursions. It was so interesting to see how they dealt with the city's unique challenges! The guide was super knowledgeable, and we got to check out the SR-99 tunnel and the Amazon Spheres up close. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone curious about how Seattle works underneath all the beauty. Plus, it was a nice bonus to learn about the floating bridges!
Considering gifting the Seattle Engineering Tour—thoughts?
I’m thinking of gifting this tour to my boyfriend who’s an engineering nerd. He loves Seattle, and I think he’d get a kick outta the behind-the-scenes info about the floating bridges and Gas Works Park. Has anyone done this recently? Is it worth the price?
