Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the helicopter tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 3 years old to fly. They recommend that younger children be able to wear the headsets and sit still for the duration of the tour, which can last around 1-1.5 hours. It's a great experience for families!

Q: What's the best time of year to do this tour? I hear the weather can be tricky.

A: Fall and spring are definitely the best times for this tour! The weather is typically mild, and the views are incredible. Summer can get hot, so morning flights are better then. Just check the weather a day or two before your tour in case they need to reschedule.

Q: What's included in the tour? Are there any hidden fees?

A: The tour includes an air-conditioned vehicle to get you to the helicopter, all forward-facing seating, and noise-reducing headsets with a mic. There shouldn’t be any hidden fees, but keep in mind that tips for the pilot are customary.

Just booked the Sedona Helicopter Tour! Anyone done it?

I just bought the Secret Wilderness helicopter tour for my boyfriend’s birthday, and I’m so excited! We’re flying over all those amazing rock formations like Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock. It’s a bit pricey but looks so worth it. Anyone have tips on what to wear or if there’s anything specific I should bring?

Thinking of gifting a Sedona helicopter tour - any thoughts?

I’m considering this helicopter tour as a gift for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and I think they’d enjoy the cliffs and canyons. Has anyone done this tour? What was the experience like?
