Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the helicopter tour? Any recommendations for comfort?

A: I'd recommend wearing layers since it can get cooler as the sun sets. Go with comfortable shoes and maybe a light jacket or sweater. The noise-reducing headsets do a great job, so you can just focus on enjoying the views!

Q: Is there an age limit for the helicopter tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, children are welcome, but they need to be at least 2 years old to ride. Make sure to book in advance if you’re bringing a larger family group, as they fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule easily?

A: If the weather's not cooperating, they’ll usually reschedule you without any fees. Just keep an eye on the forecast. They prioritize safety, so if it’s too windy or stormy, they won’t fly. You’ll have a great experience when you do go!

Just did the Sedona helicopter tour, and WOW!

I took the Secret Wilderness Helicopter Sunset Tour last week with Apex Air Tours and it was nothing short of amazing! The views over Cathedral Rock and all those canyons at sunset were breathtaking. The pilot was super knowledgeable, pointing out all the rock formations. I went with my partner, and it felt like a special adventure. Worth every penny!

Thinking of gifting the helicopter tour!

I'm considering buying this helicopter tour for my parents' anniversary. They love Sedona, and the sunset views sound amazing! Has anyone done it recently? How's the experience? Are there any hidden fees or tips I should know about?
