Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the helicopter tour?

A: Yes, there is a weight limit for the helicopter tours, typically around 250 lbs per person. If you're planning to go as a group, they may ask for a total weight check to ensure balance in the helicopter. It's best to check with Guidance Air directly for the most accurate info before booking!

Q: What do you wear for the helicopter tour? Is it cold up there?

A: Layering is key! It can get a bit windy and cool at altitude, so I recommend wearing a light jacket. Also, avoid loose clothing that might fly around. Comfortable shoes are a must, especially if you plan to hike after the tour!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Absolutely! Guidance Air is pretty flexible when it comes to rescheduling due to weather. They’ll reach out to you if conditions are unsafe and help you find a new time that works. Just make sure to give them a call if you're unsure about the weather on your scheduled day.

Just did the Sedona Helicopter Tour - WOW!

I took the Dust Devil Tour last weekend and it was absolutely breathtaking! The views of the mesas and canyons are even more stunning from above. The pilot was super knowledgeable and the 20-minute ride felt just right. Plus, we got to enjoy some wine afterward, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Sedona!

Thinking about gifting the helicopter tour, worth it?

I’m considering this Sedona helicopter tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves adventure! But is it really worth the price? How's the experience? Any tips for first-time flyers? I don’t want to waste my money if it’s just so-so.
