Q&A
A: The Sedona Night Hike is suitable for ages 12 and up. Kids younger than that might find the hike a bit challenging due to the terrain and night conditions. The guides are really good at making it fun and educational, though! Just make sure they’re comfortable hiking in the dark.
A: Definitely dress in layers! Even in summer, Sedona gets pretty chilly once the sun sets. I'd recommend a light jacket or hoodie and some comfortable hiking shoes. The guides provide headlamps, so no need to worry about bringing your own light.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they will reach out to you about rescheduling. They usually try to give you options for other dates. Just keep an eye on the forecast and check in with the provider if you're unsure!

Just did the Sedona Night Hike and it was AMAZING!
I took the Sedona Night Hike and Stargazing trip last weekend, and wow, it was a blast! Our guide was super knowledgeable and showed us how to spot the scorpions with the UV flashlights. The stars were incredibly bright since it’s a Dark Sky City—definitely brought my camera! The snacks were a nice touch too. If you’re thinking about gifting it, do it! My friends and I loved every minute.
Thinking of gifting the Sedona Night Hike experience—thoughts?
I want to gift my sister the Sedona Night Hike for her birthday. She loves nature and stargazing, but I’m worried about how hard the hike might be for her. I haven’t done it myself. Can anyone share their experience? What's the terrain like?
