Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit for the Sedona airplane tour, but kids should be at least 3 years old to ensure they can fit safely in the seatbelts. If you're considering taking younger children, it's best to check with Sedona Airways directly. They’re really accommodating and can give you more info based on the child’s needs.
A: If weather conditions are unfavorable, Sedona Airways usually contacts you ahead of time to reschedule. They prioritize safety, so if you have to delay, they’ll help you find a new date that works. Just make sure to give them a call to confirm your options!
A: Dress comfortably! It can get a bit windy up there, so I'd recommend wearing layers. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea since you’ll be in and out of the plane. Don’t forget your camera or phone for those stunning views of the red rocks!

Just did the Sedona airplane tour - WOW!
I recently took the Sedona's Majestic Airplane Red Rocks Tour, and it was absolutely breathtaking! We flew over Cathedral Rock and got such amazing views of Oak Creek Canyon. The pilots were super friendly and pointed out all the landmarks. I can't recommend this enough—definitely worth the price! Just make sure to arrive early for check-in.
Considering gifting the Sedona airplane tour
I'm thinking about gifting the Sedona airplane tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature but have never flown in a small plane before. I'm a little worried if they’ll be comfortable. Has anyone done this with older folks? Would love some input!
