Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the manatee cruise?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the cruise. Kids of all ages can join, but I’d suggest it’s best for those 4 and up since younger kids might have a hard time sitting still for 1.5 hours. Just keep in mind that you might want to bring snacks or tablets to keep the littles entertained!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of the cruise?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll usually try to reschedule your cruise for another day. Make sure to call ahead if you have concerns! Just keep an eye on the forecast, especially during stormy seasons.

Q: What’s the best time of year to see the manatees?

A: You can see manatees year-round, but the best time is definitely from November to March when they gather in larger numbers. That said, even in summer you might spot a few! Just be patient and keep your eyes peeled.

Just had an amazing time on the manatee cruise!

I just got back from the See Crystal River manatee cruise, and wow, what an experience! We saw so many manatees swimming right next to the boat. The naturalist guide, Jess, was super knowledgeable and shared a ton of info about the birds and other wildlife too. Definitely recommend going early in the morning for fewer crowds. You guys have to try this if you're in Crystal River!

Considering gifting the manatee cruise to my parents!

Hey guys, I'm thinking about giving my parents the See Crystal River manatee cruise for their anniversary! They've always wanted to see manatees. Do you think they’d enjoy it? They’re in their late 60s and love nature. What should I know before I buy?
