Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for this tour?

A: The tour is suitable for all ages! However, keep in mind that younger kids might not get the same enjoyment out of the historical commentary. Just make sure to bring a stroller if you're bringing little ones, as there will be some walking involved.

Q: What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

A: There's no strict dress code, but I recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot. The weather can also be unpredictable, so check it beforehand and maybe bring a light jacket or umbrella!

Q: What happens if it rains? Will the tour be canceled?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! The guide will provide ponchos if needed, and many of the sites are still enjoyable even in drizzle. Just keep an eye on the forecast and prepare for the weather!

Thinking about gifting the DC tour; any suggestions?

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the 'See DC In A Day' tour for my parents who are visiting soon. I love that it hits all the big sites like the Lincoln Memorial and the White House. Has anyone done this tour? Is it worth it? I'm just curious if it’s a good way for them to get a feel for the city in a short time.

Just did the DC tour—amazing experience!

I recently went on the 'See DC In A Day' tour and it was fantastic! We hit all 10 sites, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and the World War II Memorial. The guide was really engaging and had lots of interesting stories. The van was comfortable too. Highly recommend if you're short on time in DC!
