Q&A

Q: Can you do this treasure hunt alone or is it better with a group?

A: You can definitely do the treasure hunt solo! I did it by myself and had a blast. The clues are fun and lead you to cool spots in North Beach and Chinatown. It’s a great way to explore at your own pace, but if you like company, it’s also fun with friends!

Q: What happens if it rains? Can you reschedule?

A: If it rains, you can just choose to do it another day. There’s no time limit since you can start whenever you want! It’s best to check the weather and pick a day that works for you. Plus, there's a lot of indoor fun in Chinatown if it's drizzly!

Q: Is this suitable for kids? What’s the age limit?

A: Absolutely! This treasure hunt is perfect for families. There’s no age limit, and kids usually love the adventure and the clues. Just keep an eye on little ones, especially around busy streets!

Discussions

Just did the North Beach/Chinatown Treasure Hunt - soooo much fun!

I just finished the Self-Facilitated Treasure Hunt in San Francisco and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The clues were clever and led us to some amazing hidden gems in Chinatown. Plus, the augmented reality feature was so cool. My friends and I had a great time racing through the streets, trying to beat each other to the next clue. Highly recommend it for a fun day out!

Considering gifting the Treasure Hunt experience - any thoughts?

I’m thinking about getting this treasure hunt for my brother’s birthday since he loves exploring new places. I’m a bit worried about how difficult the clues might be. Are they manageable for someone who’s not too into puzzles?
