Q&A
A: It totally depends on your kids! My 8-year-old loved the elephant seals and the Redwoods. There’s enough variety in the stories to keep them engaged, but I’d suggest bringing snacks and some activities for the quieter parts. Just let them know there’ll be fun stops along the way!
A: You can absolutely do the tour in both directions! It’s flexible, so you can start in Monterey and go to Carmel or vice versa. Just pick the direction you want and it’ll guide you with stories and tips based on your location.
A: Since the tour is a digital download, you can use it whenever you want! No expiration means you can wait for a sunny day. Just be sure to check the conditions for your planned stops, especially if you want to see the seals or hike.

Considering the Big Sur Audio Tour – Any Tips?
I’m thinking about getting the self-guided audio tour for my parents' anniversary. They love road trips! Has anyone done this along the PCH? What’s your favorite part? I really want them to see the Redwoods and the elephant seals, but I’m worried they might get lost or miss something good.
Just Did the Big Sur Audio Tour – So Amazing!
We just finished the audio tour and wow, it didn’t disappoint! The views of the coast were jaw-dropping. The Redwoods were magical, and the tips about the local restaurants were spot on. We found a cute little place by the water for lunch. Seriously, highly recommend this experience!
