Q&A

Q: Is there a specific age limit for using this audio driving tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for this tour! It’s designed for everyone, so kids can enjoy the stories and directions just as much as adults. Just make sure your kids are safely buckled in while you enjoy the beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains!

Q: How does the offline feature work? Do I need to download something first?

A: You just need to download the audio tour before you head out! Once downloaded, it uses GPS to trigger stories as you drive, so you won’t need any cell service or WiFi in the park. Just make sure to follow the directions given during the download process!

Q: What should we wear for this driving tour? Any tips for comfort?

A: Dress comfortably! Layers are key since the weather can change quickly in the mountains. Bring a light jacket just in case it gets chilly at higher elevations. And don’t forget comfy shoes if you plan to hop out for some hikes along the way!

Thinking of gifting the audio driving tour in the Smokies! Anyone tried it?

I’m considering this self-guided audio tour for my brother and his family who are visiting Gatlinburg next month. I think it sounds awesome to explore the Smokies at their own pace. Has anyone done it? How was the experience? Any highlights you’d recommend?

Road trip in the Smokies with the audio tour!

Just got back from our road trip using the GuideAlong audio tour! We stopped at Cades Cove and learned so much about the history of the area. It felt like we had our own tour guide, and I loved that we could go at our own pace. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about it!
