Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit! It’s perfect for families, but younger kids might need help with the audio part. As long as they can enjoy the scenery and engage with the stories, they’ll have a blast. Just make sure to bring snacks and water for everyone!
A: Downloading the tour is super easy! You just need to install the GuideAlong app and purchase the tour. After that, you can download all the audio files directly to your phone. I did it the night before our trip, and it worked like a charm! Just make sure you have enough space on your device.
A: Dress in layers! The mornings can be chilly, but it warms up fast. Sturdy shoes are a must since you’ll be walking on rocky trails at places like Aztec Butte. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, too. The sun can be intense, even in the fall!

Just Did the Self Guided Audio Tour of Canyonlands—Wow!
I just finished the self-guided audio tour of Canyonlands and it was amazing! The stories about the canyons and the history really brought everything to life. We got to see Mesa Arch and it was just as beautiful as everyone says. The GPS feature was super helpful—no signal issues at all. We spent about 5 hours stopping at various points. Totally worth the zero bucks! Planning to gift this to my brother for his birthday.
Thinking About Getting This for My Parents—Is It a Good Idea?
Hey everyone! I’m considering the self-guided audio tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love exploring but have trouble keeping up with a group. Do you think the flexibility of this tour is good for them? I want them to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
