Q&A

Q: Is it good for families with kids, or is it more of an adult experience?

A: I took my kids (ages 8 and 10) on the audio tour last month, and they loved it! The app does a great job of making the history fun and engaging. Plus, there are tons of food stops along the way that kept them interested. Just be ready for some walking, but it’s totally worth it!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather's bad?

A: Since it’s a self-guided tour and you use your phone, you can pretty much do it whenever! Just download the app and start whenever you’re ready. If rain is in the forecast, I’d suggest checking for indoor food spots to take breaks at!

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! It’s mostly walking, and the North End can get crowded. I wore sneakers and a light jacket since it was a bit chilly. Layering is a smart idea just in case you stop for gelato!

Discussions

Just did the self-guided audio tour in the North End!

I recently bought this tour for myself on a whim and wow, it was amazing! The history about Paul Revere and all the Italian spots was super fascinating. I loved being able to go at my own pace. The pizza recommendations were spot on too! I ended up grabbing a slice at Pizzeria Regina and it was heavenly. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Boston!

Considering gifting this audio tour - any thoughts?

I'm thinking of getting this audio tour for my parents. They love history and especially Italian food! Do you think it's worth it? How long did it take you to finish it? I want to make sure they enjoy it and not feel rushed!
