Q&A
A: There's no strict minimum age for this tour since it's self-guided, but I'd say it's best for kids ages 8 and up. Younger ones might not have the patience for the stories, but they’ll love the scenery and the fun plants. Just make sure they can handle a mile of walking!
A: The audio is pre-downloaded onto your phone, so you don’t need WiFi or cell service during the tour. Just make sure to download the tour before you head out! It uses GPS to know where you are and plays the right stories automatically.
A: Absolutely! You can use your own headphones or a portable speaker to share the experience. Just keep in mind that if you're sharing headphones, it might be best for couples or small groups. Enjoy the stories together!

Thinking of gifting the Joshua Tree Audio Tour—any tips?
Hey everyone! I'm considering this self-guided audio tour of Hidden Valley for my friend’s birthday. I think walking through Joshua Tree would be an incredible experience. Can anyone share their thoughts or tips on the best time to go? Also, how long does the audio actually last versus the walk?
Just did the Joshua Tree tour and it was amazing!
I just finished the self-guided audio tour of Hidden Valley and wow, it was incredible! The stories about climbers and the whole Yucca Man legend added a really fun twist to the hike. The scenery is just stunning! We went in October and the weather was perfect. Anyone else done this yet? What did you think?
