Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the tour! It’s great for all ages, but keep in mind that younger kids might need some help to keep engaged with the stories. Bringing headphones to share could help if they don’t want to wander off too far. Just make sure they’re comfortable walking for a couple of hours!
A: Yes! The tour is designed to work offline after you download it, so you won’t need cell service or WiFi once you're there. Just make sure to download everything before you head into areas with poor connectivity, like parts of Yellowstone.
A: Wear comfy hiking shoes! The terrain can be uneven, but it’s not super strenuous. Dress in layers since it can get chilly, especially near the geysers. A light jacket and some water should do you well. Just remember to bring sunscreen, too, since you’re outside for a while!

Just did the audio tour at Old Faithful, and it was AMAZING!
I recently took the self-guided audio walking tour of Old Faithful Geyser Basin and it blew my mind! The stories about the geysers and the history of the area were super interesting. I spent extra time at Chromatic Pool because the colors were just stunning. I went with my partner and we shared headphones, which worked out great! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Yellowstone!
Thinking about gifting this audio tour experience!
I’m considering giving this audio walking tour of Old Faithful to my brother for his birthday. He loves hiking and history, so I think he’d really enjoy it! I’m just a little concerned about how long it might take. Anyone know what a good time to set aside for it?
