Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but it’s designed for older kids and adults since it involves a fair amount of walking and historical content. Younger kids might enjoy it if they're interested in history, but just keep in mind that they might get tired. It’s great for family outings since you can go at your own pace!
A: Since this is a self-guided tour, you can always reschedule for another day without any charge! The app is great for flexibility. Just make sure to check the forecast, wear comfortable shoes, and maybe pack an umbrella if the weather looks sketchy.
A: The WalknTours app is super user-friendly! Once you download it and enter your code, you’ll get a map that shows you exactly where to go. It even has arrows pointing you to the next stop. I had no issues finding my way around, plus the audio was really well narrated. Definitely worth it!

Thinking of gifting the Freedom Trail audio tour! Anyone tried it?
I’m considering getting the Self Guided Classic Freedom Trail tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves history and walks, so I think it’ll be perfect! I read that it covers places like Paul Revere's House and the USS Constitution. Does anyone have tips on the best time to go or what to wear? Is it more enjoyable on a weekend or weekday?
Just did the Boston Freedom Trail tour! Here’s my experience!
I just finished the Self Guided Classic Freedom Trail tour and it was amazing! I loved that I could go at my own pace and the app really made it easy to follow along. The narration was engaging, and I finally got to see places like the Old State House and Bunker Hill. Definitely a great way to spend a day in Boston. Can’t wait to do it again!
